March 4, 2015 was an exceptional evening for Calgary Sexual Health Centre.
It was this very evening that the Calgary Nonprofit Innovation Awards ceremony was held and our President and CEO, Pam Krause, proudly represented the WiseGuyz program as an award-winning recipient.
Research has shown that WiseGuyz is truly shaping boys into empathetic, confident and responsible young men. The WiseGuyz program provides targeted education, skills development, and support to young men to help them achieve sexual well-being and healthy relationships. It provides boys with a safe space to ask questions and understand their own sexuality and manhood amongst their peers.
The Calgary Nonprofit Innovation Awards celebrate the nonprofit sector’s creative spirit by showcasing local innovation in action and to be one of three award recipients is such an amazing honor. We would like to send our sincere thanks and gratitude to the Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations and Cenovus Energy for this remarkable award and recognition.
