This FREE online workshop will support parents and caregivers to create a more inclusive family environment. Deepen your understanding of the differences between sex, gender, and sexual orientation, and discuss the impacts of homophobia, biphobia, transphobia on LGBTQ2S+ children and youth.

This is the first workshop in a three-part series for pre-teen girls (ages 9-12) and their parents/caregivers to attend together. In this interactive online workshop, we’ll discuss puberty changes, taking care of your changing body, and preparing for your period.

This is the second workshop in a three-part series for pre-teen girls and their parents/caregivers to attend together. In this interactive online workshop, we’ll discuss boundaries, assertive communication, and decision-making in friendships. We will have opportunities for parents and their children to communicate about their friendships and build understanding.

This is the third workshop in a three-part series for pre-teen girls and their parents/caregivers to attend together. In this interactive online workshop, we’ll discuss the ways in which media can affect girls’ body image and sense of self. We will have opportunities for parents and their children to communicate about media literacy and body image and build understanding.
