The Centre for Sexuality is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that provides comprehensive sexual health and healthy relationship education in schools, communities, and workplaces. Over the past 49 years we have developed expertise in providing programs and services related to gender identity, sexual orientation, LGBTQ2S+ inclusion, gender equity, sexuality, sexual health, healthy relationships, and consent. Our mandate is to use that expertise to build and deliver meaningful programs that change lives, communities and systems.

Inclusion in Schools: Creating a Culture of Respect for Diverse Sexual Orientations, Gender Identities and Gender Expression

This interactive workshop helps professionals working in schools gain greater awareness and understanding of gender and sexual diversity. We will also discuss the impacts of homophobia, biphobia, transphobia on the school environment. You’ll leave with tools and strategies to create safe and supportive environments for your LGBTQ2S+ students and staff.

Building Comfort and Skill in Teaching Sexual Health

Teaching about sexual health can be challenging – with the right tools it can also be fun and rewarding! This engaging and interactive workshop will increase your own comfort and skill to teach about sexuality, sexual health and relationships. We will provide you with practical tools and strategies to create an inclusive classroom space for all students. You’ll leave with the ability to ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions and you feel comfortable answering them.
