Participate in a focus group and contribute to the development of a new workshop for health and social service providers by the Canadian Public Health Association and Centre for Sexuality. We’d like to hear about your experiences accessing sexual health and harm reduction services in your community, and your ideas of how to prevent and respond to stigma and discrimination within health and social services. This includies stigma and discrimination related to sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (for example HIV, herpes, hepatitis C, chlamydia), and other factors such as race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, etc.
Participants will receive $50 for participating!
The focus group will be conducted in English on October 16 from 6-8 pm with up to about ten other people. The focus group will last
between 60 and 90 minutes and will take place in a private meeting room.
You are eligibile to participate if you are over 18 years of age and have accessed sexual health, harm reduction, or STBBI-related services (e.g., testing services, programs for safer sex or substance use supplies, sexual health or substance use counselling services or treatment services) in Canada in the past five years.
