Workshop Details

Workshop Duration: 1-3 hours

Audience: Health and Social Service Practitioners

Participants will learn about the unique experiences of gay, bisexual, and men who have sex with men (gbMSM) and how they navigate sexual health services.

This interactive workshop will explore how stigma and structural violence impact gbMSM and their ability to safely access services that meet their needs. It will also identify specific considerations when working with this population and how to respectfully and safely discuss these with patients and clients.

Participants will leave the workshop with ideas for changes that can be integrated into their practice to better serve and support this population.
