This workshop is for health and social service providers working in the areas of substance use, sexually transmitted blood-borne infections, or sexuality.

While this session is aimed at addressing trauma, stigma, STBBI’s and sexuality, the content can also be applied to other areas of health and social services.

Explore how trauma and stigma can impact clients’ health and well-being, as well as access to health and social services. Learn about the principles of trauma- and violence-informed care (TVIC) and learn to challenge the stigma associated with sexuality in your own practice. You’ll gain practical tools and skills to develop safer and more inclusive services
