Masculinities and Healthy Relationships

Since 2010 we have been reaching young men through our WiseGuyz program. We have seen significant positive impacts related to healthy relationships, violence prevention and sexual health promotion.

Building on this work we have created this interactive workshop where you will explore how social norms about masculinity and gender roles can impact healthy relationships and safety, personally and professionally. You will leave with practical tools to respond to sexism, homophobia, and transphobia when witnessed.

Sexuality & Boundaries: Addressing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

Through interactive discussions and activities, learn about the personal impacts of workplace harassment, and understand how this can lead to unhealthy work environments.

Come away from this workshop with practical tools to address harassment in the workplace, clarify boundaries, and understand the role that bystanders can play.

Gain a deeper understanding of the roots of homophobic and sexual harassment and explore strategies to address bullying, prevent harassment and highlight the role of bystanders.

You will leave this workshop prepared and confident to address this issue in a way that empowers the person experiencing harassment, while providing teachable moments to those engaging in it.

Creating a Culture of Consent: Safer Establishments

Developed for participants who work in bars, music venues, and festivals, we examine how venues and establishments can empower their staff to be engaged bystanders. Explore the root causes of sexual violence, learn about consent, policies, and legal obligations to address sexual harassment.

We highlight factors that may prevent people from intervening and introduce strategies to address harassment that empowers the person who is experiencing harassment and focuses on the roles of bystanders in the workplace and community.
