This training was created for service providers in a variety of client-serving roles to increase their capacity to discuss healthy sexual development in childhood and puberty with their target populations.
Participants will increase their knowledge of sexuality, sexual health and sexual health rights for children and youth. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their personal attitudes, values, and beliefs related to normative and non-normative development and build a more supporting and affirming approach to these topics in their practice. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with practical tools for discussing this topic with their clients, parents, caregivers and natural supports.
Since 2009, our Training Centre has offered a full-range of workshops tailored for professionals working in all sectors. Learn more about the Training Centre.
