Training Centre

Thanks to generous funding from RBC, we are offering free Training Centre workshops for organizations in rural settings in Alberta, including Indigenous- and newcomer-serving organizations. We have funding to train up to 1,000 professionals in any of the following workshops:

• Creating a Culture of Respect for Gender and Sexual Diversity
• 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusion in the Workplace: A Training for Leadership and HR Professionals
• At the Intersection: Building Awareness and Capacity to Support People Experiencing Intersectional Stigma
• Fostering Inclusion for 2SLGBTQ+ Communities: Training for the Homeless-Serving Sector
• No Longer Silent: Creating a Culture of Respect for Sexually and Gender Diverse Older Adults
• Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) Inclusion for Immigrant and Refugee-Serving Organizations
• Where the Rivers Meet: Creating a Culture of Respect for Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer Communities
• Becoming an Ally: Being an Engaged Bystander
• Part 3 of our Natural Supports Framework Series: Enhancing Natural Supports for 2SLGBTQ+ Clients

This funding covers workshop fees not including travel and mileage, so in-person sessions will have come costs associated with travel. We can offer virtual workshops as well!
