Centre for Sexuality offers various programs for girls in the Calgary area. Our programs help girls to develop skills, build confidence and achieve overall wellbeing.

Girls Program

Girls Program is offered in schools in grades 4-6. Over 25 sessions, this program explores topics including mental health, friendships/relationships, self-esteem, body image, media literacy and puberty.

WiseGirls

WiseGirls for girls in grades 8-9 integrates social-emotional learning to explore topics like healthy friendships, media influence, body image, puberty, healthy decision-making, emotional regulation and mental health.

Raising Girls

Raising Girls is a three-part workshop series offered for girls aged 8-12 and their parents/caregivers to complete together outside of school hours. Sessions cover topics like healthy friendships, body image, media literacy and puberty.
