What is Totally Outright?

Totally Outright is a 5-session psychoeducation health program for queer and trans men and masc people.

Through workshops, group discussions, and interactive activities, participants explore topics like sex-positivity, pleasure, STBBIs, relationships, identity, and community health. The program blends practical knowledge with personal reflection to spark deeper conversations about queer health, connection, and care.

Sessions run twice a year.

Fall 2025 registration is now open!

Our fall session of Totally Outright starts in October. Apply online by October 5!

Why apply?

Totally Outright a space to explore sexuality topics that are often hard to talk about, find community, build friendships, and become part of a province-wide network of 2SLGBTQ+ peers committed to learning and change.

Participants receive a $200 honorarium upon completing the program, with free catered meals provided at each session.

What will I learn?

Totally Outright is divided into 5 modules: Self & Society, Sexual Health, Healthy Relationships, Mental Health, and Community Action. Here are some highlights of what you’ll learn throughout these modules:

  • You will identify how media and society perpetuate harmful myths about GBT2Q bodies, relationships, and experiences

  • You will identify prevention tools for HIV and other STBBIs (including condoms, PrEP/PEP, TasP/U=U, and behavioural prevention)

  • You will increase your confidence to engage in healthy sexual relationships

  • You will identify personal stressors and coping mechanisms

  • You will identify ways that you can be an agent of change in your communities
