This introductory session works to define sexuality in a broad context, explore attitudes about sexuality, and offer practical suggestions for engaging clients and patients in conversations about their sexual health and well-being.

As service providers the topic of sexuality and sexual health often comes up with clients, it is important to be prepared by building comfort and skill in addressing these topics. An excellent beginning to this journey, or a good refresher, this session will increase your knowledge of sexuality, sexual health, and sexual health rights. You will be given the opportunity to reflect on your personal attitudes, values, and beliefs related to sexuality. You’ll leave the session with practical tools for engaging clients and patients in conversations about sexual health and relationships.
