Employer / Provider Workshop:
1:00 -4:00PM
The Employer / Provider Workshop will be geared towards people (employers, HR personnel, housing providers, property managers) who would be seeking information about understanding human rights protection, avoiding liability and creating organizational cultures. It’s goals would be to expand knowledge of gender expression, gender identity and protection under human rights legislation; gain confidence to address workplace issues related to diverse gender expressions or gender identities; and protect their organization from risk of discrimination or complaint by promoting knowledge of rights, responsibilities and accommodations.

Connected Groups Workshop:
6:00 -9:00 PM
The Connected Groups Workshop will be geared towards individuals connected to communities impacted by gender identity or gender expression including LGBTQ organizations and their supports, allies and partners. It’s goals would be to increase confidence addressing diversity and rights to human rights protection; gain knowledge to advocate for environments free from discrimination; and identify strengths, needs and gaps in the workshop region related to human rights and gender diversity.
